# Review the Ask Stella Chat History

## How do I review the chat history on a report?

Every report keeps the conversation that defined it, so you can go back and check what was asked for and why.

### Opening the conversation

Open the report from your Report List, then click **Ask about this report** in the header. The conversation opens in a drawer on the right.

If the report has never produced a version — a new **Draft**, for instance — there is no **Ask about this report** button, because the conversation is already there in the middle of the page. At that stage the conversation *is* the report, so it gets the whole column.

Scroll up through the drawer to read the conversation from the beginning — how the report was first described, the examples Stella offered, any feedback you gave, and each version as it was produced.

A banner at the top of the drawer shows which report and which version you're looking at. You can drag the drawer's left edge to widen it, and close it with the **×**.

### Carrying the conversation on

What you can do from here depends on the report's status:

- A **Draft** can be continued straight away — just keep chatting.
- A **Ready** report can be approved, or sent back with feedback.
- An **Active** report's changes go through **Talk To a Human**.
