Report Status Definitions
What do the report statuses mean?
Reports within the Stella AI system can have one of seven (7) different statuses depending on the report's state and readiness.
Draft
A "Draft" status indicates that the report is still being defined by the user via the Stella AI chat.
All report queries are saved by default in the Draft status until such time as the report query has been accepted and forwarded to the next steps.
Pending
A "Pending" status indicates that the report has been accepted and has moved on from the draft status but has not yet been connected to data or the account has not been set up on a subscription.
Pending Data Connection
To move forward, click the "Talk To A Human To Connect Your Data" button and select a meeting time at your convenience.
Pending Subscription Trial
To move forward, click the "Talk To A Human To Start Your Trial" button and select a meeting time at your convenience.
Waiting
A "Waiting" status indicates that the report query has been accepted and is in the queue for processing.
Working
A "Working" status indicates that the report is being generated based on the accepted report query. During this time, the Stella team may reach out with questions or suggestions for the report.
Ready
A "Ready" status indicates that a report has been generated with the provided data matching the report query.
To accept the report, review the proposed document to ensure it meets the requirements and click the "Approve" button.
If the report is not correct or requires additional feedback, that can be done via the chat. Any feedback changes will automatically put the report back into the "Working" state to generate a new report for further iterations and approval.
Active
An "Active" status indicates that a report has been approved and has been generated.
Multiple scheduled reports will appear grouped under the report's title, rather than as new entries on the Report Summary page.
Archive
An "Archive" status indicates that a report query is no longer needed or a scheduled report has been stopped. Archived report queries are not visible on the Report summary page.
When a report query has been archived, any reports that were previously generated by the query will remain for future reference in the Google account associated with the query. Those reports can still be accessed via the Google account; no link will appear on the Report summary page within Stella.
An archived query will be permanently deleted and cannot be reinstated or revised. Proceed with caution when archiving a report.
