# Archive a Stella Smart Report

## How do I archive a report that is no longer needed?

Archiving stops a report for good. Use it when a report is no longer needed, or when you want a scheduled report to stop running.

**IMPORTANT — archiving cannot be undone.**

An archived report cannot be restored, reinstated or edited. If you only want to change how often a report runs, or pause it for a while, click **Talk To a Human** instead — don't archive it.

### How to archive

1. Open the report from your Report List.
2. Find **Archive** at the bottom of the panel on the right of the report page.

3. Click it. Stella asks you to confirm before anything happens.

Once confirmed, the report stops running and disappears from your Report List.

### What happens to versions already produced

Versions that have already run stay in the Google account associated with the report, and remain readable there. What goes away is the report itself — it won't run again, and the links to it from inside Stella are gone.

If you think you'll want those spreadsheets later, open them and note down where they live before you archive.
